This year for Easter I decided to be a bit untraditional by introducing plaid and more saturated tones instead of the quintessential pastel color scheme.

In this look I decided to go with a look that personified old time elegance with a pop of purple in the knit tie that still says “It’s Easter”.
I added a news boy cap, monks trap shoes and a leather band watch to top off the look, completing that nostalgic nod to the 1920’s.

Wearing an all plaid pattern within this suit made me think …”what if I pair it with another pattern within the shirt (houndstooth) to make things even more chaotic”. I felt this combination would end up working out even though one would naturally think the patterns/colors would clash.
