If you haven’t yet heard of Greg Lauren you may at least be familiar with his last name seeing that he is the nephew of fashion god Ralph Lauren. in 2011 Greg originally an artist now turned designer presented his first ready-to-wear collection and now has just brought his Fall Winter 2015 pieces to the runway.  One would think that his designs would mirror that of his famed uncle but in actuality they are extremely different as he explained backstage. “I told the models they are all beautiful, unique, interesting creatures. The show is about individuality and the global village.” His collections have shared a common theme of military influence and this season, his sources went as far back as the Revolutionary War: “To me, that’s the past, but could also be the future.” These looks appear to be the direction some designers are going as we have seen similar elements in collections like Yeezy Season 1 and Alexander Wang.  There seems to be several pieces that could be pulled from this collection to implement stylish real world street looks.
