Layering is not only functional for chillier whether conditions but also quite stylish. Though temperatures are beginning to rise, some locations are still experiencing cold spells here and there, so I wanted to give some last minute tips on layering to stylishly keep that chilly wind away.
1. Pieces
When layering its important to utilize pieces that will be able to be seen even if covered slightly by a different piece placed on top. A great example is in the photo below where you can clearly see all three layers (Vest, Button up, T-Shirt).
2. Order
Maker sure that you select the order of the layers properly for the most optimal look.. You don’t want to place a t-shirt or button up on top of a jacket and look like you got dressed in the dark. Usually you would begin with lighter weighted fabrics and progress to heavier. In the pictures below you see this being done where the vest/coat respectively are the most butter piece.
3. Fabric
Understand that it is not only ok but encouraged to mix fabrics when layering… It makes for an incredible look as indicated with in the looks that are displayed.
