The Skywave House is a metallic undulating structure located in Venice, California– just within the Los Angeles area. Built by architect Anthony Coscia of Coscia Day Architecture and Design, this home is like a gorgeous art gallery that’s certainly reminiscent of Frank Ghery’s famous works.
Described by Coscia to be inspired by the concepts of yin and yang with a complete symbolism of equilibrium. The Skywave home’s living room is glass encased and completely unfolds onto three floating platforms connected by a floor-to-ceiling atrium.
The overall square footage is 2250, with uninterrupted views and 12 foot high glass walls with full height sliding doors. There’s even a 29 foot tall skylit entry that helps to offer more majestic views of the L.A. landscape. (Article by Rachel Via- Inthralled.com)
